![]() ESPECIALLY the Return of Ultraman booklet. Orb + Geed: not the worst I’ve seen, but from what I’ve heard the sub is taken straight from the Crunchyroll subs made by translators at Tsuburaya, so some dialogue is pretty awkward, though thankfully not as bad as Ginga/Ginga S.Īnd I will say, don’t bother trying to read the episode descriptions in the guide books that come with the sets, cause they are CHOCK FULL of broken English. Like “They were witnessed.” Instead of something like “there were witnesses“ or “they were spotted” and one moment where a possessed character was described as “haunted” rather than “possessed.” Idk if it’s a result of the dialogue being super hokey or what cause some lines are so bad. The Ginga and Ginga S subs are VERY awkwardly translated. Chronologically it takes place between Episode 6 & 7. It was released on September 7, 2013, as a double-bill with Mega Monster Rush: Ultra Frontier - Dino-Tank Hunting. OG Ultraman: a LOT of instances where the word Monster is misspelled as “mosnter” like a LOT! Ultraman Ginga Theater Special (, Urutoraman Ginga Gekij Supesharu) is the first film adaptation of this series. I will say that if you’re looking for a review of the subs, you should look for the review channel Kaiju No Kami’s review of the Blu-Rays (I’d suggest skipping to near the end of the videos to avoid spoilers) since I haven’t watched every single series just yet.
